Elementary Level - Grades 3-5

For our elementary aged students (grades 3-5) we have the following offerings:

  • Elementary Ballet

  • Boys Hip Hop
  • Adaptive Dance - for students with special needs
  • Mini Musical - Camp Runamok (Pre-K - 5th)
  • Fantasmic Production Class
  • The Little Mermaid Musical

Our fall session runs January 30 - June 4 

 

No classes -

February 20-26 (Mid-Winter Break) or

April 10-16 (Spring Break)

 

PERFORMANCES:

All Elementary classes will perform in our Spring Showcase performances on Sunday, June 4th.

  

Each class is paid for in 4 installments that are due the first week of February, March, April, and May.  There is no charge in June.  There are no additional fees, this cost includes:  Registration Fee, Tuition, Performance Fees, a Rhythms Show T-shirt, and a Digital Performance Video.  See our studio policies page for more information. 

 

ONCE PER WEEK RATE:  

We HIGHLY recommend taking these classes on both days as the classes were created this way to help students experience the most growth as performers.  However, for students who can only take once per week in a class offered twice per week, the cost is 60% of the regular rate.  Ex.  If class meets twice per week and cost is $100, the cost to take the class once per week is $60.

On Mondays this class will learn dances to be part of our production number - Fantasmic!  They will get to combine with our older classes in this number but will have their own special section (learning Jazz & Character styles)

On Wednesdays class will be in the styles of hip hop and contemporary.

Elementary Ballet Mondays 5:00-5:45pm Megan W. Jr. Instructor) 4 payments of $70

A beginning level ballet class.  Ballet is an excellent way to improve overall dance technique including posture, grace, alignment, and balance.

Elementary Cheer Dance Tuesdays 4:45-5:30pm Megan L. (Jr. Instructor) 4 payments of $70 In this class we will ra ra ra our way to fun!  We will do strong, precise movements using sparkly pom poms and dance like the cheerleaders you see on TV! 
Boys Hip Hop Tuesdays 4:00-5:45pm Lindy (Jr. Instructor) 4 payments of $75 A fun upbeat hip hop class!  This class is for boys ages 5-10. 
Adaptive Dance Saturdays 11:15-11:45am Deanna 4 payments of $60 Adaptive Dance introduces the basics of dance through creative movement to children with special needs in a fun and inviting atmosphere where all dancers will feel accepted and comfortable learning the art of dance. The goal of this program is to build body awareness, muscle memory, strength, balance, focus, and above all to have fun!
Elementary Broadway Thursdays 5:30-6:15pm Amanda 4 payments of $70 Do you love to act, sing, and dance?  In this class we hone our skills with acting exercises and games, plus we learn numbers from hit broadway shows like Hamilton and Matilda!
Mini Musical - Camp Runamok Thursdays OR Saturdays Thursdays: 4:15-5:30pm OR Saturdays 9:30-10:45am Amanda 4 payments of $145 Students will rehearse and perform a short musical called "Camp Runamok" all about the hilarious highs and lows of going away to summer camp.  Everyone will get a special role to play and lines to learn.  This musical is for students in Preschool - 5th grade, but rehearsals are divided up by age.  This class will perform on Saturday, June 3.  For more info, please click here.
Little Mermaid Musical Tuesdays & Fridays 4:15-6:30pm Kate & Amanda 3 payments of $225 For students in 4th grade and above. Students will rehearse and perform the hit musical "The Little Mermaid," the beloved Disney classic! Musical auditions will be January 3rd.  Please see all details by clicking here!  This musical performs in April!
