EVERY student, returning or new, must have one parent attend this mandatory meeting on Saturday, March 14th, 1:30 - 2:00pm. It is IMPERATIVE that a parent attend so we can give you all the important info you need! If a parent does not attend this meeting, their child will be dropped from the show, unless prior arrangements have been made.
Regular Rehearsals: March 3 - June 9
Tuesdays: 3:30 - 6:30pm
IMPORTANT: After casting, we will be breaking down the Tuesday rehearsal schedule. Actors will NOT have rehearsal the entire Tuesday time, 3:30 - 6:30pm, but instead will rehearse for either an hour or an hour and a half (the same schedule on a weekly basis) based on their casting. Some of the roles like Aladdin may be required to attend the whole time.
Saturday schedules vary on a weekly basis. A detailed schedule will be handed out at the mandatory parent meeting once the show is cast. It is important that you continue to check it and your e-mail and groupMe app for changes. It’s vital that students try to be at every rehearsal. Actors who miss learning a group number, may not get to be in it!

Ages 4-Grade 5
Horton the Elephant, the Cat in the Hat and all of your favorite Dr. Seuss characters spring to life onstage in Seussical JR. Transporting audiences from the Jungle of Nool to the Circus McGurkus, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of naysayers and dangers, and he must also guard an abandoned egg that's been left in his care by the irresponsible Mayzie La Bird. Although Horton faces ridicule, danger and a trial, the intrepid Gertrude McFuzz never loses faith in him. Ultimately, the powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community are challenged and emerge triumphant!
